Legendary Hollywood director David Lynch joins forces in an ambitious mission to eliminate violence and life-threatening stress in schools across the planet.
“School of Thought” is a mysterious and amazing adventure into the Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment deep in the heartland of America with Academy Award-nominee David Lynch (“Blue Velvet,” “Twin Peaks” and “The Elephant Man”). David brings along a few friends including Beatles collaborator Donovan (Mellow Yellow, Hurdy Gurdy Man and Sunshine Superman) and the world-renowned quantum physicist John Hagelin (What the Bleep Do We Know?).
Together, these three peacemakers – with the featured support of Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Moby, Eddie Vedder and Ben Harper – are touring the world with their mind-blowing solution to creating harmonious schools and world peace. Their answer: Have every student in every school across the planet practice Transcendental Meditation twice a day and watch them quickly become happier, healthier and more focused, thereby dissolving the life-threatening stress which typically manifests itself in young people through drug abuse and violence, often in fatal ways.
Based on the phenomenal best-selling book by famed author Deepak Chopra, “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success” offers a life-altering perspective on the attainment of success.
Blending the ethereal teachings of Vedanta and the Bhagavad Gita from his native India with forward-thinking transcendental quantum physics, Chopra’s works about the power of individual consciousness have become worldwide best-sellers, selling over 40 million copies, empowering followers to gain control of their lives through a deep and meditative understanding of their own spiritual connections to the world.
“The Seven Spiritual Laws Of Success” are the principles of pure potentiality, giving, karma, least effort, intention and desire, detachment, and dharma, forming the basis for a more natural and organic lifestyle, allowing personal well-being and enthusiasm for life to govern prosperity and success.
Beloved singer Olivia Newton-John and acclaimed director-actor Bill Duke (X-Men: The Last Stand, Predator) share powerful personal stories about challenges they’ve faced, which have nonetheless placed them firmly on the path towards experiencing life’s fullest potential. Their compelling narratives are intertwined with Deepak’s essential teachings, distilled into seven simple, yet profound principles that anyone can employ to create success and abundance in all areas of life. Featuring all-new original music from Olivia Newton-John and beautiful cinematography, this uniquely satisfying film is one you’ll view many times – and derive something new each time.

From the Inspirational Best-Selling Book by Deepak Chopra Comes a Powerful New Film
Are we here by accident or is there a Creator or Divine Force that is behind our existence? Does God exist? Does God care about us? Where do we find God?
From the banks of the Ganges River in India to the Great Pyramids of Egypt, Deepak Chopra takes us on a breathtaking visual and philosophical journey where he investigates the meaning of creation, miracles, immortality and of existence itself. Uniquely blending science and philosophy, Chopra offers such an inspiring approach in spiritual thinking that any viewer, regardless of faith, can undergo a profound quest “to know God”.
“How to Know God” explores mysticism, as the inner experience of God. Chopra believes that we resist God as an inner phenomenon and are taught to fear God or experience God as separate from us. In the film, he asks “After centuries of knowing God through faith are we ready to understand the infinite intelligence of God directly?”
Chopra draws upon ancient wisdom and clues from modern day scientists for understanding the nature of our Soul’s origin, He explains the role of mythology, religion and science as very different ways of trying to decode the universe and he uncovers the Quantum “mirage” that is creation through an exploration of Einstein theories of time and space and quantum physics.
Uplifting and insightful “How to Know God” offers stunning visuals, special effects and exotic locations, as well as, Madonna lending “Om Shanti” to the film’s soundtrack. Viewers will delve into a veritable theater of the mind and transformational journey towards the self, an inner passage of realization that “God is everywhere including within You”.

Producer Alison Tripp (Kim Morgan Greene) is so successful these days that she’s known around Hollywood as the “female Jerry Bruckheimer.” That wasn’t always the case. During the making of a low-budget film ten years earlier, she found herself swept up in a real life thriller as a group of armed men trapped the entire crew in a warehouse, killing everyone except her. Ever the opportunist, she turned the nightmare into a personal triumph by becoming one of Hollywood’s biggest moviemakers.
However, her success cannot prevent the past from coming back to haunt her. It turns out someone is coming after her…again. Homicide detective Vick Donovan (Michael Madsen) is convinced it’s one of the killers from her past. During intense questioning, he forces her to delve into her horrifying memories to relive all that happened that terrible night, sure that the key to her tormentor’s identity is there. When the torture of reliving those painful memories becomes too much to bear, Alison starts to suspect that Vick may be on the wrong side of the law.
In 1985, Bo Diddley put together a band that included Ron Wood, John Mayall, Mick Fleetwood, Kenny Jones, Carmine Appice, John Lodge, Ronnie Lane, Carl Wilson, and members of the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Chicago, Quiet Riot and Three Dog Night.
He cooked them all a barbecue dinner, and then they put on a show.
It’s an R&B jamfest.
Available for the first time for international DVD distribution.
