Road to Red
"Road to Red" is a coming of age thriller about
five best friends that set out on an epic road trip to honor the
memory and dreams of their missing mentor and hero.
What begins as an adventure to make skateboarding history, quickly
turns into an ominous battle for survival.
A cross between "The Endless Summer", "The Big Chill", and
"Deliverance", "Road to Red" is a coming-of-age film about five best
friends who set out on a road trip that takes an unexpected turn.
Directed by surfer/skater/filmmaker Tito da Costa
(once ranked 6th best long boarder in Europe, and a Portuguese
national surf champion) and supported by a cast and crew of
surfers-skaters, “Road to Red” is definitely one of the most
authentic surf/skate films to come along in years.
